How To Use
Our Ingredient Philosophy
Did you know that our scalps are porous, absorbing the products that we slather onto it? At Ecoslay, we practice a natural-first philosophy when it comes to ingredients. Paying tremendous respect to nature while not ignoring science - that's the Ecoslay way.

I did not realize how watery it was going to be, and when I poured some out onto my hand a bunch of it came out and then went down the drain! I tried to make it lather but I had to keep adding and adding and I never did get a good cleanse from it. The consistency is way too thin to be easy to use, I won’t be using or purchasing this again

Not only did about half the package go down the drain (I see others had this happen too), but it made my hair feel like it was clumping together. I had to wash out the hair wash. I love Orange Marmalade which is my favorite gel from all the brands I like and use. So, BRAVO for that product. This one is terrible for me and I got some in my eyes and, boy, did it sting!

I tried this after loving the orange marmalade and matcha protein shake but this didn’t lather in my day 3, high porosity hair. It’s so watery that it just slid out of my hands like water. I worked for several minutes to work up a lather and nothing happened. Sadly will not be using nor could recommend this product, unlike others.

I love mints smell and flavors. I love it even more if I cna find the right mint shampoo. Sadly I have not. This shampoo is very watery. I think Ecoslay should add a vegan ingredient that will make it less watery or significantly reduced the water in this formula for the product. I would give it 0 stars of I could. I tho k they should add more mint to it. I order it for the seocnd time the bag was half full. That's very disappointing for paying $14 for shampoo and the bag not even half way full. I wanted a refund that a complete rip off. There's other vegan products I can order else where that cost way less and have their bottle completely full. Ecoslay is lacking in the product quality compared to its competitors.

It makes me sad to see the negative reviews on this product, but it just works for my hair. I've been using this product for a little over a year now and in combination with my other hair products, I've seen growth. Like my hair reached a bit past armpit length before I had to trim it recently, and it's never been that long. I have 4a/4b fine, high density, low porosity hair. And my hair just feels more healthy now that I use this cleanser. It's a good weekly cleanser for me because my hair doesn't get super dirty throughout the week. And it smells so good! Like peppermint, although I don't get the tingly feel on my scalp like some do. I will say I struggled a bit at first getting it to lather enough but now it lathers just enough for me. I fell in love with african black soap shampoos after using this one. If you're hair is on the oilier side, this product may not be your cup of tea because there's a decent amount of oils in it. But if you're hair is on the drier side like mine, you might just like it.
