Making Care Kits for Veterans

This Memorial Day, Ecoslay is proud to partner with the Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) for our 2026 Sowing Good campaign — a community-driven effort focused on honoring and supporting veterans transitioning into stable housing. From May 18 through May 25, 10% of profits from all Ecoslay sales will go directly toward purchasing essential self-care and hygiene items for 100 care kits being donated to VEO, including 70 kits for men and 30 for women. Ecoslay will also contribute travel-sized shampoos and conditioners from our own inventory to help make each kit feel thoughtful, personal, and uplifting.

But this campaign is about more than donations — it’s about community. On Memorial Day, May 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., we’re inviting our Ecoslay family and neighbors throughout Atlanta to join us for a Community Packing Day at the Avondale Estates Town Green. Together, we’ll assemble the care kits, connect with one another, and spend part of the holiday serving those who have served our country. Whether you shop, volunteer, or simply help spread the word, every contribution helps us sow a little more good into our community.

Serving Lunch to Atlanta Mission Residents

VEO x Ecoslay

Ecoslay partners with the Veterans Empowerment Organization which empowers Veterans to rebuild their lives with support in housing, job readiness, and optimal wellness. Whenever we  visit their facility, we ensure that it’s in tip top shape.

Serving lunch to Atlanta Mission Residents

On our visit with Atlanta Mission, our team had the privilege of preparing and serving lunch to the residents of Restoration House. Beyond simply sharing a meal, the experience gave us the opportunity to connect with both the staff and community members through conversation, encouragement, and fellowship.

Moments like these remind us that meaningful impact often begins with simple acts of care and human connection. We’re grateful to support the incredible work being done by Atlanta Mission and honored to spend time alongside the resilient individuals and families they serve each day.

Atlanta Mission x Ecoslay

Ecoslay often partners with Atlanta Mission, a shelter that provides meals, shelter, counseling, recovery programs, and more to the unhoused in Atlanta. We recently had some of our staff participate in their 2026 5k Race To End Homelessness!

Atlanta Mission Grounds Clean up

Atlanta Mission Grounds Clean up

Our team came together to help beautify the grounds of the Atlanta Mission’s Restoration House — a place of refuge, hope, and new beginnings for displaced women and children seeking stability and a fresh start. Restoration House serves as a safe haven for families rebuilding their lives, and it was truly an honor for our team to contribute to the care and upkeep of such a meaningful space.

At Ecoslay, we believe community impact extends far beyond the products we create. Supporting organizations like Atlanta Mission aligns deeply with our values of compassion, service, and restoration. We’re grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in the incredible work Atlanta Mission is doing every day to uplift and empower members of our community.

2025 Aids Walk

2025 Aids Walk

Our team was proud to participate in the 2025 AIDS Walk — an event dedicated to raising awareness, funding, and support for individuals and communities affected by HIV/AIDS. The walk serves as both a powerful remembrance of lives impacted by the epidemic and a continued call to action for compassion, education, healthcare access, and community support.

Coming together for this event was a meaningful experience for our team. Side by side, we walked in solidarity with thousands of others committed to creating a healthier and more compassionate future. At Ecoslay, we believe caring for our community means showing up for causes that uplift, support, and advocate for people from all walks of life. We’re honored to have participated in such an impactful event and grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside a community driven by hope, resilience, and love.

Our staff also participates in Atlanta Mission’s donation sorting, where all the donated clothes are sorted and recycled.

Holiday Giving

At least once a year, we visit a local Walmart and pay for the customers' groceries with no catch. We work with the Walmart employees to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Relief Packages

One of our priorities is providing resources to those who need it, so we made relief packages and passed them out to the homeless population in our city.
